St George follows the Big Banks reduces Exception Fees
Following the recent announcements from NAB and Westpac, St.George/BankSA will be reducing a broad range of account exception fees to $9, effective 1 October 2009.
The fee reductions will apply across consumer and business deposit accounts, residential loans, credit cards and personal loans.
For Home Loans, the following fees will be changing:
Residential (LIS) Loans
Exception Fee Fee amount (until 30 September 2009) New fee amount (from 1 October 2009)
Payment dishonour fee $15 $9
Arrears letter fee $50 $9
Portfolio Loans (including Business Umbrella Investment Loan)
Payment dishonour fee $15 $9
Payment honour fee $38 $9
Arrears letter fee $50 $9
Periodical payment dishonour fee $45 $9
Outward cheque dishonour fee $45 $9
Direct debit dishonour fee $45 $9
